Enhancing Clinical Competencies

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

The Clinical Psychology Apprenticeship Program is a post-licensure training program designed to bridge the transition from entry-level practice to competent, ethical, and independent clinical work. The program provides structured exposure to real-world clinical settings while maintaining clear supervision, accountability, and professional standards. Through an integrated combination of didactic learning, supervised practice, and case-based training, apprentices deepen their clinical reasoning, therapeutic skills, and professional identity as clinical psychologists. This program is not a certification course, but a residency-level specialization intended to strengthen competence, confidence, and ethical maturity in clinical practice.
